Jason Pierce Joins Baton Rouge General as VP of Business and Network Development

BATON ROUGE, La. – Jason Pierce has recently joined Baton Rouge General (BRG) as vice president of business and network development, with a focus on cultivating and strengthening physician relations, developing solutions to close network gaps, and growing the state-wide Louisiana Independent Hospital Network Coalition.

Pierce most recently served as executive director of access and business development at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, where he played an instrumental role in growing the physician network since 2013. He has previous experience as a healthcare representative with Pfizer Inc., where he worked closely with primary care and urology providers across the region and was named Rookie of the Year in 2008.

Pierce earned his Master of Healthcare Administration from LSU Shreveport and his Bachelor of Science, Recreation and Tourism from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga. He sits on the board for Clean Pelican, a group that works to create and maintain a clean, beautiful community where businesses and families want to stay, work and play. Pierce has also conducted international outreach missions in several countries, including Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Brazil.
