Baton Rouge General Expands Family Medicine Services in Mid City

BATON ROUGE, La. – Valeria Soegaard, MD, has recently joined Baton Rouge General Physicians as a family medicine physician, taking care of patients at one of BRG’s Mid City clinic locations, Medical Associates of Baton Rouge.

Dr. Soegaard earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. She completed her residency training at the Baton Rouge General’s Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as chief resident.

An El Paso native who speaks Spanish fluently, Dr. Soegaard is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
