Lynn Z. Tucker, MD Joins Baton Rouge General Dermatology

BATON ROUGE, La. – Longtime local dermatologist Lynn Z. Tucker, MD, has recently joined Baton Rouge General Dermatology, providing both medical and cosmetic dermatology care for patients at the hospital’s Bluebonnet location.

Dr. Tucker received her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. After completing a rotating internship in Shreveport, she served for two years as a contract physician for the U.S. Air Force in Everett, Wash., before returning to New Orleans to complete her dermatology residency through LSUHSC at Charity Hospital.

She has been an active member of various medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Louisiana Dermatology Society. She has served on the board of the Louisiana State Medical Society and was the first female president of the East Baton Rouge Parish medical society. Dr. Tucker has also taught and mentored many family medicine residents during her career.
