Victoria Lee, MD, recently joined Baton Rouge General Physicians – Baton Rouge General
Orthopedic Associates and Surgical Associates, as a general surgeon.
New to Baton Rouge, Dr. Lee completed her general surgery residency and
internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She received her
medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia,
her Masters of Science in bioengineering from Penn State University, and
her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.
“Surgery allows me to use both medical knowledge and technical skills,”
says Dr. Lee. “One of the things I enjoy most about being a surgeon
is that it lets me help patients quickly and see results right away.”
Dr. Lee performs a variety of surgeries, including gall bladder, hernia,
breast cancer and gastrointestinal surgery. A member of the American College
